On Thursday, June 1, mark unveiled the next generation hook ups to an eager crowd
of press, industry insiders and mark Representatives.
The mark team, including Global President Claudia Poccia, along with celebrity makeup
artists Cynde Watson and Natalie Miller demonstrated the innovative new twist-up technology and limitless customizable makeup
combinations.
The event took place at New York City’s Lotus Space, which was transformed into a mark
Hook Up Lounge. Themed around “jean-pocket friendly” and customization, the event was designed for ultimate interactivity.
The new mark products peeked out of the pockets of Paige Jeans that lined the DJ booth, and new mark
accessories made a glittering backup to the cocktail tables.
Editors had a blast digging in to brimming bins on the Hook Up wall, which was like a candy store for
wide-eyed women. They also invented their own sundaes, martinis and sushi at various “make-your-own” stations
around the room.
The final "treat" was a make-your-own charm necklace bar, which featured an array of semi-precious
stones, charms and chains.
Everyone had a blast at the event and left with their new, customized makeup and jewelry.
"The beauty press was blown away by this launch," says Claudia Poccia, Global President. "We are thrilled
to see such a high level of energy and buzz around mark."
